Mudguard mounts

I've just recently taken delivery of a disc brake road bike, and the brake stay doesn't have holes drilled for the brakes (as expected), however, there is a hole drilled on the bottom of the stay. Is there any adapter I can buy that will bolt onto the bottom and move the hole to the side of the stay, as a normal road bike would use?
I want to mount some mudguards on this bike, and that is the only bit holding me back from getting them working. There is a metal piece I have to mount at the stay to hold the mudguard up, and without it it bounces around.

If it were me, I would simply drill the mudguard at the appropriate point, and pop a nut and bolt through - Pretty sure I have done this previously with no issues - less brackets to break then as well.Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

Now that is something that I had not thought of, I really like that idea! I'll be using the bike for cyclocross and commuting, so that would be quick and easy to move as well.0

That is how I did it and it's being discussed over in Road->Workshop, see - http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40004&t=129986770

I had to do same thing on PX Uncle John.
Which your London Road looks like the successor to!
It's a bit of a faf but as with all mudguards once they're on they on... Apart from maybe 5 years later when the bolt/washer rusts up - I recommend using best bolt and washer available
let us all know how this baby goes! :P0 -
You could always put a p-clip over the brake stay?0
