Any one using the new Go Pro £99 is it any good and how does it compare to the SJ4000, want to get my 9 year old one for xmas.

I have seen video filmed on it. It's not amazing but more than adequate for most people.

I've got the SJ4000, brilliant bit of kit for £40. Sod paying 100 quid+ on a similar product.

Hi which SJ 4000 have you got, there seems to be a few different models ??

Got to be honest mate of mine had a expensive one and we used to record our enduro riding on it and after a while it all gets a little boring to me, might be a good training tool for my son as well.

SJ4000 is great for the money, only real downside is battery life isn't the best.

For a kid I'd certainly get one over a GoPro.

Sj4000 was stolen recently and now got a gopro hero.

Build quality is great and video quality is much better than the SJ and more stable!

Does the SJ4000 record in segments or continuous?
Seen some footage where it appeared to overlap (same road sign twice in a few seconds).

ive got the new basic gopro , currently £94 in currys , cant see why you d need more to be honest the 1080 footage at 30fps is great and the 720 at 60 fps .
A few of my mates have the older black models and only use these settings anyway .
There a lot of after market cheap mounts and harnesses available for the gopro too.
