Hi.
Do you think a System Six would still be a good frame despite being about 7 years old. I've found a mint looking painted version. I know they were the dog's when they came out. Anyone still riding one?
Cheers

I know of one local dale dealer, the father and son owners ride a SystemSix and a Six13 in preference to anything newer. Both are ex racers of good standard. That says a lot in my book.
I enjoyed my limited time on one, but I am an aluminium fan and prefer my CAAD10. Your mileage will almost certainly vary.0 -
Given that these had a carbon front end and an alloy back end, a break-down in the joints between the two might be possible over such a time span due to galvanic corrosion, and which might be hidden under the paint. Personally, especially given the advances made in the use of carbon in the last few years, I would go with a full carbon job."an original thinker… the intellectual heir of Galileo and Einstein… suspicious of orthodoxy - any orthodoxy… He relishes all forms of ontological argument": jane90.0

These are great frames! I've been using mine as my best bike since 2009. I can't fault it. It's exciting to ride and feels like all your power is being transferred into making you go faster. I haven't 'upgraded' yet, because there's no need to. I'd have to spent a load more money for hardly any gain0
