  • Nice build. How do you find the Veloce in the wet?
  • Got the same frame for a winter bike.

Mine needs a bath though, it's much, much dirtier than yours.
  • Perfect winter steed with one of my favourite saddles fitted.

Yes I've no complaints, the Veloce is perfect for me on the winter bike. I'm a Campagnolo man so its the obvious choice most of it has been downgraded from my summer bike and still working well with no issues this will be its 2nd winter.

The Dolan gives a nice ride, does'nt seem to have the biggest clearance for a winter frame, I've gone for 23mm Pro 4 Endurance would have liked 25mm but was'nt sure how big they come up. I have Lithon before in 23 and they measured more like 25 and was pretty tight with mudguards around the brake bridges.

Great choice for winter. I'm biased. :)

I've just built up a Preffisio for the winter. Agree, it rides nice albeit a bit heavy, but feels solid and predictable. I managed to squeeze on some 25mm Conti GP4000S by filing down the rim on my mudguards just where the clip for the brake bridge goes. It's tight though so I've replaced them with 25mm Vittoria Rubinos which pump up a bit smaller.

Anyway looks nice - a cracking winter bike.
