why?
In our village there were no great mountain bike trails. so we had to build yourself now three months later we have a whole network of MTB trails.

Good effort but you will be doing it all again soon. Untreated, fresh cut wood rots in no time when built in to dirt features. I have seen similar stuff collapse within a few months of wet British weather.
