I want to build some new wheels but Major Tom rims seem to be out of stock everywhere. Can anyone suggest an alternative - ideally 23mm wide?

Hubjub.co.uk have the Kinlin TB25 for about £30 each. They aren't as wide as a Major Tom, but I've used a pair for the past few seasons and they've been rock solid.

They are very narrow... even for road tyres they are on the narrow side. I remember fitting a Pave' 25 and it already looked wrong

Ambrosio tubular Disk. Hard to get but I have a pair. Decals are ghastly but can be removed. 24mm wide 370g, winner on that front.

The OP didn't mention a disc specific rim though...
