After Garmin updated it a few months ago, is anyone else finding Garmin Connect runs so slow it literally freezes to a stand still and refuses to load pages ?
For some reason Garmin Connect is now significantly slower than every other website.
Why did you have to change it Garmin? It was fine as it was.

No mate, it's got quicker and quicker for me.0

When I attach my Garmin now it syncs automatically to Garmin Connect in seconds, so I don't even need to upload like I do on Strava. However I don't like the new screen on Garmin Connect, so I still view rides on 'old' dashboard.0

Another thumbs up here, although yesterdays update took a while to registerI'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0

It's been really fast recently but servers are down currently for me to upload. Maybe a maintenance activity ongoing?0

looks like there was some downtime, just as I was uploading today's run. Seems fine now.
I am now beginning to use the "modern" set-up more, as it appears to do almost all the steps that the "classic" can.All the gear, but no idea...0 -
So does this mean that Garmin Express is no longer neccessary? Or do I still need it to check the software / mapping on my device and update it if required??
Initially Garmin Express worked just fine, but now I'm finding it either failing to detect the device or prompting repeat warnings in Windows UAC about some Windows NT development tool
Gadget is an Edge Touring Plus if that matters...0 -
Didn't work at all for me yesterday, via the website or Garmin Express. Just sat for ages with the green line edging forward, then told me there was an error. Maybe it was a problem at their end? I'll have another go this evening.0

I can't connect to Garmin on my S4 mini, though its no problem on the Nexus 7 (same app) and the laptop.
Shame as I've just bought an 810
Must find someone at Garmin to moan to0
