out last night for the musical and then a few friends round for food and drinks, lead me mistakenly to believe I would sleep. But no, less than 5 hrs kip :(

Today is swimming lessons, etc, followed my the final performance for rugrat1 and then out for dinner with some friends to celebrate - could be painful

Swimming lessons here as well but I've got out of that so I'm off out on the road bike.

Missus is out this afternoon so I'm entertaining the littlies / ferrying them about :D

I was at work until 11 last night. That was a stupidly long day soldering. My eyes hurt like hell as I was concentrating on hundreds of cables.

Today, I will be doing a few things round the house, then over to Bury for the football. Then a nice relaxed evening is in order.

    Morning all,
Busy day of drinking on the cards today. Boy drank too much last night, but irritatingly is showing no I'll effects. This is annoying as I will be in full zombie mode as I'm off to a cousin's 50th birthday bash at a pub in Richmond from midday. As her brother is my longest standing drinking buddy it will get very messy. I might have to engage MattH mode and avoid the hangover by never sobering up.

    Morning crudites......

A few jobs round the house this morning, hopefully the spokes for my new rear wheel will arrive today and I can get that laced up.

Maybe off to Sheffield later as the son is looking to blow his new found wealth on an expensive car (M135i to replace his 118D Msport), very specific on the colour and options he wants, hence the travel.

    Monring Genetic Experiments,

Already been out for coffee and supplies, now settling down for a bit of peace while wifey goes out and does her errand and stropteen does some long overdue homework. This afternoon is off into town to watch Chelski hopefully spank QPR - followed by a good bit of take away afterwards :)

Just home from night shift - watching some football over breakfast/dinner depending on your view and then plan to get out on the bike for a bit - beautiful bluebird day here today after 7 days of rain. Trails will be slick, not sure how hardcore I will go - might go dip my toe into some of the steeper stuff and see how they look.

Out for dinner and a beer or two later.
