Just a quick question as to whether I actually need to put the wavy washer in and what side to put it ?

As I just installed my cranks and really had to torque up the cranks to get rid of any play but realised I didn't use the wavy washer.

Thanks

If you can remove all axial-play without the wavey washer and bearings still run sweet then no problem. Wavey washer usually goes on non-drive side:

Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
