Scott Scale 40 Stolen from Eccles/Salford

Hello
On monday 27th Oct I had my bike "removed" from the carpark at work. I have been able to see on the CCTV that it was taken at around midday. 2 guys walk up the road, onto the carpark, have a look around the bike and walk off, then 5 minutes later 1 returns, spends a couple of minutes at the bike and rides off.
They walked along Coronet Way from the direction of Eccles then left in the direction of Media City.
The Bike is a white 2008 Scott Scale 40 with red decals. It has long bar ends on the handlebars and an all black Selle seat. It also has Bontrager tires on it.
I don't currently have the serial numbers as I bought it from a friend 3 weeks ago. He is digging out the paperwork to see if he has any numbers he can give me.
Not happy as I only had it for 3 weeks, and its the first "proper" bike I have owned.
Gutted!
Any help or information that I can pass to the police would be great. I have had my eye on ebey etc but nothing has come up.
