Ok, so I blew my rear shock damping is gone and oil and sludge has gone everywhere.
Therefore I am looking for a new rear shock. The previous shock was a Fox Van R and it is from a 2010 Norco Shore 2. From measuring it I believe it is a 222mm eye-to-eye and a 68mm stroke length. If this is indeed the case can anyone recommend a rear shock that wont blow the bank apart? looking to spend £150-£200 ideally not much more.
This looks good http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/rock ... d=4473640# but then am I going to have to buy a spring and retainer ring and threaded collar? If so thats going to add about £50 surely?
First time looking for a rear shock so a bit out of my depth really
Thanks in advance.

Why not send it to mojo for repair...Bird Aeris : Trek Remedy 9.9 29er : Trek Procaliber 9.8 SL0

Well I was told that due to the age of the shock it probably wasnt worth getting it repaired
EDIT: Just looked on Mojo's site and they are quoting £123 for a Van R service so surely for an extra £70 its worth getting a brand new shock that is an upgrade too?2010 Norco Shore 2

They can usually give a custom tune as part of the service costs. I'd give them a call and get their opinion.Bird Aeris : Trek Remedy 9.9 29er : Trek Procaliber 9.8 SL0
