A mate of mine bought a knock off bar mount from somewhere. It snapped on the first smooth trail he took it down :roll: Unfortunately I don't have a clue where it was from but I wouldn't be surprised if they're all exactly the same.

My fakes have lasted pretty well. Nothing broken yet.

GoPro stuff is a complete rip anyway, for example... £6.99 vs £30 for a chest mount!

I'll take my chances!

i picked up a chest mount for a tenner earlier in the year, almost identicle to another riding buddies GP one,
yes the feel of the plastic is a lot Cheaper and Shinier, but for the useage its had, just wasnt worth paying out for a high end one!!
i picked up a cheapy nopro last year, £35 one, shares the same as the poloroid and vivitar, had a couple of issues with it, but a tiny diy fix and has been fine, footage is fine for the amatuer biker, after all, it spends most of its time on the desk! ;-)
