Bash Guide vs Non-bash Guide

Hi Guys

I was wondering if someone could help me?

This is the device:

http://www.superstarcomponents.com/en/p ... =4#reviews

And it has multiple options available for the chain guide at the top of the device. There is a slider style and one that surrounds the whole chain. These two options can be seen in the pictures.

My question is, which is which from the options? Which is the "bash guide" and which is the "non bash guide".

Thanks in advance

Difference between bash and non bash is the bash type has a complete top guide, non bash has the open top guide and the bash guard closes the top guide when fitted.

If I was you I'd buy an E Thirteen SS+ or similar for slightly more as my experience of Superstar guides is that they do anything but keep the chain on. I've never had a problem with any of my E Thirteens. The E Thirteen also comes with a nice bash guard as well so in some ways is actually cheaper than the Superstar and IIRC it's also lighter.
