A wheels question

I've been riding a Giant Defy 1 for two years and upgraded the wheels to Mavic Ksyrium Equipe this year. I've been really happy with these wheels but I'm now ready to upgrade the bike.

I've been looking at the 2015 Giant Defy Advanced Pro 1. This bike has Giant P-SL0 disc wheelset. As I obviously can't put the Mavics on this bike, how would the stock wheels compare with the Mavics? And if they don't compare well, what are my options on a disc wheel upgrade?

You can't really compare the Mavic's to the PSL-0 as they are designed to meet a different performance criteria, rim braking as opposed to disc braking.

If you mean what is the quality of the components/build then the PSL-0 will be similar to the PR-2 wheels that were fitted to your Defy 1 as standard. They will be built to a price with reasonably components and will do the job they were intended for.

You can always budget for a second set of handbuilt disc wheels if you wanted some, the BR resident
wheel builders can advise you as to what is available.
