Is it easy to adjust lateral play in a shamal wheel

    If the wobble is due to the wheel being out of true then received wisdom is that truing a GS wheel is a bit more of a problem than on a standard wheel lacing pattern. From what I can gather the paired spokes on the DS need to be treated as one and adjusted together by the same amount.

    This video shows a spoke replacement and a final truing of the wheel. It might provide some help.

    However, if the wheel is true, you'll need to re adjust the bearings else they may get damaged.

    Bearing adjustment is very easy - loosen the small allen key screw on the adjuster and then adjust to take up play. Best done with the wheel in position / QR tightened.
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
