My latest addition to my Italian Collection. I say latest, got this last November and it has now been ridden twice!
Sometime in the future it will get a re-spray to put it back to it's former glory.
Record 10 throughout apart from the calipers which are Record titanium '07 and Dura Ace wheels. It is a sublime ride. Not as responsive as the Wilier but very forgiving and would fair well on long rides. Super comfortable.
Pics of paint jobs wanted and no I am not getting the Mapei one.

Art Decor always nice on those, but whatever you decide, make sure that saddle gets binned, along with the bars and stem. Dreadful!
I wasn't aware Shimano did a Campag free hub?? Looks odd.Open One+ BMC TE29 Seven 622SL On One Scandal Cervelo RS0 -
^The bars are NOS Cinelli Criterium 42's and I don't ride anything else.
Ambrosio cassette - Shimano splines, campag spacing. Fantastic pair of wheels.
Saddle: comfy.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Looks odd in photos but my mate has a dream in the Geo paint job and its stunning!Insta: ATEnduranceCoaching

I think that's the best c40 colour scheme there is, use it, abuse it but don't repaint itmy isetta is a 300cc bike0

That's not too shabby for you Piña :P
How about looking here for paint jobs...

Pinarello, what height are you ? I couldn't help but notice the lack of seatpost showing and saddle almost tumbling off the back of the bike.0

5 ft 8 and a half. The side of the saddle obscures a lot of rail, I just measured it, there is 2cm of rail behind the seat clamp and 2.5cm in front of the SC, so it is not far off the middle. It is a 58cm frame but despite the 'classic' geometry, it was slightly tricky to get a 'French fit' and repeat exactly the same BB to saddle/saddle to H'bars as the Pinarello and the Wilier (click links below).
I have artificial hips and I will never get a big drop from saddle to bars. I don't want that set up anyway.
@NapD - Cheers for that. It is stunning. is it the original paint job?
@Arran, been there and I thought the pictures are generally worse than mine.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
That's not my mates, just an example.
This is my mate's, I can't emphasise enough how good it looks in the flesh. All metallic airbrushing and the bit with italy is in the tricoloure
There' used to be an archive of all the historical colnago frames and colours but the site no longer existsInsta: ATEnduranceCoaching

Oof, god knows! I think you'd have to speak to the benelux distributor to look at getting it done.
A lot. But it is amazing.Insta: ATEnduranceCoaching

Love the Burgundy and white. Bit too good for a winter 'hack' but I did toy with the idea of sticking some raceblade longs on mine
The happy compromise: Ride the Colnago on the dry days, the Pina at night/wet days and the Wilier in summer.
The OH cannot understand why I need 3 bikes - they just don't geddit. She'll understand it even less when I get around to a retro build.
@All - I am not going to paint it in 'Dream' colours much as i'd like to, it would not be 'right'.
@Seano - want a fight? I'll be outside Gregg's Bakers in Amesbury tomorrow night at 9pm.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Burgundy ? That'll be Saronni - proper Colnago colour.
Yes, it's far too good for a winter bike, so I have to go and buy another. I'm up to 5 now and all are 'necessary' of course :P
Buy a winter hack, built from eBay parts and treat the Colnago to a proper makeover. They deserve it.0 -
The geo oaintwork was an option on all colnagos, the first one I posted is a C40.Insta: ATEnduranceCoaching

Oi you cheeky git. All 3 frames are off fleabay and the Colnago is decked in Record 10 and Dura Ace CL 1380 wheels.
Apart from sundries, I have bought 2 chainsets, 2 rear mech's and 2 set of Ergo levers new in the last 5 years, the rest of the bits are off BR classifieds or fleabay.
I've got a winter hack - click on Dutch Ladies Hockey team.
5 ?! Well done for getting that past the missus, what are they?seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

*That drop from saddle to h'bars would leave me squeaking like a Jenny. I bet you gat nice and flat unlike me, I am as aerodynamic as a brick.
@Flanners1. Did you read any of my posts? It fits like a glove btw and if it makes you jump up and down a bit, the Wilier is a Large size - fits even better; most comfortable bike I've ever ridden with the most comfortable set up I have ever had. Everybody is physiologically different.
The Battaglin I had (57cm classic geometry) used to give me neck pain and sore backs on 3hr plus rides and yet that was a pro fit job. When I bought it, I had real hips.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
