Trying to get a shoe which is a good mix for CX but also, in the main, commuting in the winter.
These seem good and I'd definitely take a punt if they had a ratchet. But the lack of a ratchet concerns me.
Anyone used them?

I use Northwave Spartas which are essentially the same shoe without the waterproofing and have no problems racing in them.0

Size up imo. I am an 11, size guide said 46, they would have tight on barbie doll.0

I agree with antsmithmk, its definitely worth going a size larger than what the wiggle size guide states as they are rather tight fitting (aren't most Italian brands :P)
But with regards to the shoes, they are great in action, I've only raced a couple of times with mine so can't really comment on durability but they're stiff enough for sprints with just enough flex to help out with running.
Regarding your worry with there being no ratchet, the fit as previously described is snug and myself i have no issues with any slippage or rubbing.
Hope this helps.Focus Mares Ax 2.0 2015

I was looking at these too, Northwave make some cracking shoes. They don't have the lairy tricolore version on wiggle which is a shame!0
