Video from yesterday's ride down Snowdon. The gopro appeared to have fogged up, hence the not so amazing quality. Also, if you don't like the music, turn the sound off.

For the most part, the group going down the llanberis path had some trouble with one of them though apparently.

  • Looks like you pissed off a lot of walkers there.

Kudos to Snowdonia National Park for allowing cycling there.

Too many ignorant walkers, treating bridleways and permissives etc as though they're the footpaths they walk in town on.

"Why is this cyclist on my path"

Should have just stopped directly in her path and stared back at the women at 1:10

there is a voluntary ban between 9-5 during the summer months on snowdon, outside this you can ride anytime. the walkers even get annoyed at the runners in the snowdon race so bikers will never get any love from them. mid week is the best time as there is always a lot less onthe hill

Aye, we know all about the ban, cheers :)
Hiking up to ride down at 5pm means the mountain is usually fairly clear by the time we come down. That said, Ranger's path is never too busy anyway. Half the reason I've never done the Llanberis path before is just sheer volume of traffic!

The walkers didn't seem happy & the terrain seemed hard/slow going, don't think it's on my to do list. But it was a good watch, thanks.
I'm not a racer, but I like to churn out 2-3hr rides,
I love Cannock and Llandegla cycle parks.
