    So he stole a bike, ran from the police and was stupid enough to go into the harbour.....all over a £30 bike....stupid is as stupid does.
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    The local police have been criticised for not jumping in to rescue him but he had jumped in between a trawler and the harbour wall which is pretty much suicidal. If a police officer had jumped in it would be two people dead.
    Also he was the father of a young child and couldn't swim. Stealing a bike was the least stupid thing he did.
