What was that about cervelo paint chipping?

Been out on my new cervelo R3 about 5/6 times and i've just come home to notice this on the rear dropout





Will nail polish be ok to cover it up/protect it? My mrs has got some which is a near perfect match I think. Suppose things don't stay new forever do they
