    What's the question?

If I've understand the question, You want to replace your FSA crankset and BB for Shimano HTII external BB and 105 crankset? Is your BB Shell a threaded 68mm wide type? If so the difference in the overall axle length of 3mm will be negligible.

Or do you mean that you want to replace the FSA BB with a HTII BB and use the FSA crankset? Is the 19mm the dia. of the FSA crankset axle? If so the Shimano HTII axle is 24mm dia. so I can't see that combination is going to work.

Just replace the FSA BB with a Shimano BB and use the 105 chainset. Job done.
  • what I meant was if I change bb and chainset will it work as the fsa is about 3mm wider so when I fit the shimano there will be about 3mm of play sorry for confusion not very savy with cycle tech I just ride and enjoy

If you fit a Shimano BB and use Shimano cranks, there is no issue.

^^ This, if you buy the HTII BB and use your 105 crankset there should not be any play.

And a Shimano BB is dirt cheap.
