Can anyone reccomend a good all around jacket for less than £100.
Not too flappy or clingy, preferably with a pocket on the front?
Waterproof (ish) and breathable are a push at this price I know, but what is the best all rounder in your experience?
For rides of 2+ hours through the winter, and to keep on, so not a packaway.
Too much to expect?
Thanks in anticipation..

Not sure of prices but I have been using a Gore phantom windstopper for the past 2 winters and for me it ticks every box. Great jacket and the arms zip off for the spring also

Check the sales and there are Gore bikewear windstopper or Goretex jackets or similar in your price range. My wife recently got a windstopper jacket reduced down to £43 brand new which was a bargain. I use mine during autumn and winter and it keeps me warm and dry enough. For me it is too hot above 10C.

You might check endura flyte. I am happy with it.

What size are you after? I have a XL winter jacket by parentini which I was sent in error. RRP IS £220 but I can sell it in your range. It is not unlike assos 851 quality (which I have owned before) it a jacket for cold conditions though.

Without knowing what body shape you are, it's impossible to know what too flappy or clingy means to you. Are you 60kg or 160kg?
