Looking to ditch the 34 tooth ring on my shimano 5700 chainset and not sure which 36 tooth ring which would be fully compatible , could somebody please suggest product(s) with full compatibility as I think 50/36 would be so much more usable than 50/34 for me.

I once had a 36 tooth chainring from FSA and when I fitted it onto the 5700 chainset it wouldn't work with it as the chain just sat on top and wouldn't drop into the teeth. Has anybody fitted a 36 tooth ring onto a 5700 chainset and had it work without issue ?This serious internet site..............I serious cat0

I'm using a TA on a Campag chainset, works great. They do a Shimano version, look for: TA 110 PCD Zephyr
I changed rings on a compact. Hated the big gap between inner and outer ring - now 100x better.0
