Rear wheel not spinning

I noticed again when i spin my rear wheel, it doesn't spin freely. I have been having this problem with this bike since I bought it. It seems to go away when I adjust the calliper at the nearest bike shop. But, happens again after few miles of ride.

Unfortunately, there's no nearby good bike repair shop around me. Could you help me isolate the problem? I am just interested to get an idea before I take it to a repair shop again. Thanks!

What do you actually mean by spin freely? It is normal for disc brakes to drag/rub a little and this will slow the wheel slightly.

Sounds like it's just the calliper rubbing on the disk (rough rule of thumb, if the bike is upside down and you spin the wheel as hard as you can and it spins for more than 5 revs then all's ok) Could be that that is poorly aligned. Sticky pistons. Bent rotor. Or nothing to do with that and the axel and bearings are broken or poorly setup/adjusted.

Having the same problem on my Cannondale. Hydraulic disc brakes - can't be adjusted according to the bike shop! when I did mention it after it's 6 week service, staff didn't seem too bothered. Any sound advice?
Cannondale Trail 6 - crap brakes!
