So many people say Es-Ram, I wonder if it was confusion with es-works. And its mostly good stuff btw.0
-
People say ES-RAM because they are used to D-RAM etc from computing0

Really
I doubt that enough people are familiar enough with the different types of RAM memory to link the pronounciation to cycling kit.
Besides DRAM is a tot of whisky and D-RAM is another tot of whisky after the previous 8 tots of whisky (and the D is softly spoken).0 -

Took me a few years to realise " Allez " has a silent z.
People were too polite to correct me."The Prince of Wales is now the King of France" - Calton Kirby0 -

I like how he really rolls the r's in Carrera. Only a Italian could make that sound."The Prince of Wales is now the King of France" - Calton Kirby0 -
I wouldn't worry about it OP - I thought it was S Ram for a while...I think it might be due to the fact that there are extremely few words in the English language that start with 'sr...', sram just doesn't sound right.0

How about Schwalbe? I've got several pairs of them and no idea how to pronounce it correctly.0
