Contact switch remote

Got a contact switch dropper on my trance, after a small mistake fitting my new forks the shifter cable for the front mech was routed wrong so removed the switch remote, grip and brake lever on that side so I could move the shifter.
After putting it all together the switch remote no longer returns to its normal position after operation without me pushing it back i.e I press the remote to drop the seat but unless I push the route back in to position the seat is free to move back up once unweighted.
I've tried adjusting the cable tension both on the barrel adjuster and in the remote and it's made no difference.
Any thoughts, this has really confused me now.

Sounds like you've introduced friction into the system with the re-routing.
Try and ease any bends in the outers.0 -
Spot on thank you. Rotated the remote about 10 degrees and it's sorted. Not my finest moment.0
