ABP Rear dropouts

So currently on my trek temedy 7 (2014) ive got the normal QR dropouts, I can get the kit to change it to 142x12 dropouts, as im getting new wheels over xmas, what im wondering is how easy is it change the dropouts,

Can anyone help?

Surely all the Remedies are already 142x12?

The dropouts just unscrew, but I'd not guarantee the 142x12s are interchangeable.

Already spoke to leisure lakes and they have said you can use the kit and a 12mm axle from ABP which trek list on there site, so im assuming you can, as far as im aware they are the same frames/rear triangle, they just didnt put the 142x12 dropouts in the remedy 7

Someone please correct me if im wrong!!

As you said you need the axle plus dropout kit that comes with new bearings. Speak to Trek UK direct and they can sell you the whole kit I imagine. Should be a 10 min job to swap out.

I can get everything from leisure lakes, already spoke to them, works out about £45 quid for the kit and the axle, not too bad so I shall get that ordered soon, just wondered how easy it will be to fit and weather to take it the my LBS
