There used to be a Type 2 ambulance in Verona with a Porsche lump in the back. They had more modern ambulances, but the drivers all wanted that, even though it was terrifying. That was cool.0 -

It's just not right in any way for a Type 2 to be water cooled, they're even worse when they're the ones that have the fake spare wheel on the front to try and hide the radiator :evil:
The only way to go with those is air cooled and tax free

Whereas this is an original Type 2 without the monstrosity on the front because it is aircooled as the good people at VW intended when they originally built them before the idiots in Brazil began building them again.

Did it actually go around corners?
I had a type 2 '74 with a Devon conversion (2 canvas beds in the flip roof). Spent 8 months solid restoring it.
