Campag UT chainset on Felt F1 (BB30)?

I'm just hovering over the buy button for a Felt F1 frame but the BB30 bottom bracket is holding me back. Now I'm assuming the Campag BB30 cup set should do the trick but I've read a few posts about creaky cranks on other set ups.

Could anybody advise, preferably with first hand experience.

Thanks

    don't use the campagnolo BB adapters, Praxis do one that works far better.

    I've got PT cups and it doesn't creak (yet) - done about 2000 miles on them. I think (though it's not much more than from having read forums) the creak can often be down to the quality of the build tolerances of the BB shell faces in the frame.

    If I had UT cranks, then this would be the first thing I would get:

    Their reputation for the shimano equivalent is very good - the UT version has been in the pipeline for a while.

    Or just get the FSA adapter bonded in and use normal (BSA) cups

    Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately, according to Praxis:
    The F1, F2, AND Z1 - These frames use Felt’s custom Carbon BB30 with a non-removable carbon sleeve/lip.
    This custom frame shell prevents installation of the Praxis Conversion BB.

    RE: the FSA adapter. Looks like a good permanent solution but I'm not sure I like the idea of it being that difficult to remove.

    I think I'll keep looking into the Campag cups and see what I can find out.

    This whole BB thing is driving me nuts though. Every frame I look at has some sort of weird (i.e. non-threaded English) BB....
  • I've got the c-bear BBRight for Campag UT and the quality seems good, might be worth a look;

    Heard good things about C-Bear Campag-compatible bb30 cups too? No experience of them but they are supposed to have deeper mating surfaces so less prone to creak.

    Of course, you could always get a Campag Overtorque chainset if you're feeling flush? :)
  • Hi, this post was a while ago but I have the same dilemma eith a felt z1 for campag ut. Did you manage to find a solution? The Praxis isnt compatible because of the carbon sleeve inside the bb.

    Thanks
