I'm thinking about swapping from vintage dura ace to a modern campag groupset when i rebuild my Gios.
I want to use one of the powertorque chainsets but for the life of me can't find whether the BB bearings are supplied with the chainset?
I know that you need to buy the BB cups seperately but can't find the bearings anywhere.
Can anyone shed some light onto this?
Thanks
Dean

with power torque, the DS bearing is pressed onto the axle and the NDS bearing is pressed into the cup. come bearing change time you have to reomove both bearings and press new one in/on or take it to a shop with the relevent tools, a proper shop that has the right tools ask if they have the cyclus ones as they are by far the best for the job. VAR and Park tool all make good tools for the job too. none of this kit though is cheap. Find a good shop. You also need a 14mm allen key to do up the crank bolt.
You might be able to use claw puller or modified ones at leasthttp://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk -wheel building and other stuff.0 -

like Thecycleclinic said about the way bearings are mounted - and yes the groupset and chainset normally come with bearings - getting bearings is easy but I MUCH prefer the Token Tiramics from Wiggle to the Campag Ceramic

i know this link is Ultra , but sure Token do bothhttp://veloviewer.com/SigImage.php?a=3370a&r=3&c=5&u=M&g=p&f=abcdefghij&z=a.png

also - check the hub doctor on Ebay - if you give them the part numbers they will match - HubDoctor LLC

no no no, those token bearings are for ultra torque only. The UT bearings are 6mm thick and the PT bearings are 7mm think. Do not mix and match it can lead to problems.
Standard 6805 bearings are needed for Power Torque 7mm wide, you can use INA or SKF as higher end repleacements. I am not aware of any ceramic replacements.http://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk -wheel building and other stuff.0 -

The U.K token importer does not bring in, if token even make it, ceramic bearings for P-T.
Putting a link to u-t bearings is confusing and not relevent and as people can get confused they might end up buying the wrong thing.http://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk -wheel building and other stuff.0
