Got Muc Off Bike spray on my brakes...

as title. Was a bit over enthusiastic with the spray and my brakes are now nearly non-existent. The situation:
1. I pull the lever (Avid Elixir 3) and have to get all the way back and really squeeze before there's any effect
2. After a bit of riding they improved a little to the point I can pretty much lock the rear but there's zero feel until it locks and it still takes a serious squeezing
3. so went and bought some brake cleaner (can't remember the brand but cheaper than muc off), followed the instructions and still no improvement
so what do I need to do at this point? remove and scrub the pads as well?

Buy new pads and clean the rotors with isopropyl alcohol. (Cheap on Ebay)
Brake cleaners are useless on bike brakes, and never randomly spray stuff on your bike.I don't do smileys.

I spray Muc-off/Fenwicks everywhere including brakes and have never had a problem in over a decade of using the stuff. It's supposed to be used everywhere.I would suggest there's some other containment on the pads.0

Depends what Muc Off product you're randomly spraying.
This

From the OP's post and result, I'm guessing the latter.I don't do smileys.

Just use some degreaser on the rotors and pads, rinse them off in water and wipe dry with a CLEAN cloth.
You shouldnt have to replace the rotors just clean them, I'd look at replacing the pads if theyre really worn anyway but you should be fine after degreasing them.0 -

Degreasing pads isn't that easy, the only technique I found that works is soaking them in petrol for 24 hours and then baking them in the oven on maximum, they still aren't perfect but are at least back to useable.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Or putting them over the flame on a gas stove for a few seconds and any light contamination will burn off I've found.
I found even muc off bike cleaner to mess up pads before and I needed to ride up and down the street putting the brakes on to get them back to not making any noise or I just got the pads too wet from over using the hose pipe when bike cleaning.0
