Mixing Shimano with Campagnolo group set..?

Just out of interest do many of you mix the 2 groups?

My bike is fully Campagnolo (10speed) UT and want to *maybe* get myself a power meter. Funds dictate I could only get a crank based system, like Stages or Watteam if they come out soonish, and I don't want to mess with my factory wheels (Ksyrium SLS) with a Powertap

So in my opinion the only way to achieve this without spending too much is to change the chainset - as Stages don't do a power meter for Campagnolo.

It's not aesthetically the best option, although I could rub the logo off, but I'm guessing there'd be no running issues unless anyone can suggest another workaround?

Yes that is the one I was looking at but it seems it won't be available until summer 2015.

And why are FSA chainsets so expensive !

There's a Tune (Power2Max) BB30 power meter chainset in the classifieds at the moment. Otherwise, have you looked at RotorLT? I've just bought a set and will be fitting them this weekend.
