park ct5 chain splitter, works on 11 speed?
i am about to replace the pins on my park ct5 chain splitter, and upgrading to 11 speed soon.
will the pins work on an 11 speed chain?
a reader on another forum says they will, park tools tech Q AND A say they wont,
anybody used this tool succesfully on an 11 speed chain?
cheers.

If its a campag 11s chain, you can only use the joining pin once, as far as I know.
I am also not sure if the side plate would be supported correctly in the tool for an 11s chain, all the tolerances seem to be so precise on the 11s stuff.
Will be interested to see others opinions though, as carrying a chain tool almost appears pointless these days, although I carry a quick-link, but even that does not sound like an easy task if you have wet, cold hands down a dark lane0 -

I've been using that Park tool for years and it works fine on 9/10 and 11 speed chains (non of the chains have been campag)0
