Wheel hub dust cover
My bike wheels have Ultegra 6800 hubs fitted but recently when going over rough roads i was getting a slight vibration noise and i think i have tracked it down to the front wheel hub dust cover, one of the covers rotates freely when on the bike and off it, is this the way its supposed to be? if so anyone know how i could stop the cover vibrating?

My daughter's Rs80s had the same thing happen, the cover had adhesive on the back? Shimano use cup and cone bearings so the servicing isn't an issue.0

Would it be better to take the dust cover off and apply the glue to the back of it or just drop the glue into the gap between cover and hub?https://www.instagram.com/seanmcgrathphotography/

I would take it off and apply glue to the cap and put it back.0
