29er Rockshox Forks - help?

Right, some quality responses on my hubs query last week, thanks chaps! Next question...

Forks. Specifically, 29er, tapered steered, 100mm travel or thereabouts, 15mm (pref) or 9mm QR for light XC work.

I have acquired a particularly nifty Open O-1.0 frame at crazy low price, and am looking to build up a nippy lightweight trail bike.

Already have some Rockshox SID XX ones on a 26" bike which seem pretty good to me, but I got those for a song. Looking at the Rockshox options for a 29er fork, I see these (in my currency):
- SID XX Solo at $850
- SID RCT3 Solo at $750
- Reba RL Solo at $490.

Are the XX ones worth the XXtra?? Are the Rebas perfectly good for an average (ok, below average) rider? What the hell is the discernible difference between the three of them?

What I *do* need is maximum comfort - a once-fractured neck makes that a priority. I'd prefer plush over the last degree of precision handling for example.

Any alternatives to these worth a look?

The XX damper adds weight, so it depends entirely if you like the Xloc remote, if you don't then get the RCT3. That's what I'd do.
