The commencal is £1000!the others are 12000
-
Personally, out of the three, I would go with the Orange Crush as it has the best Fork and runs Shimano brakes/drivetrain instead of the SRAM that the others have.0
-
I would go for the Commencal.
£200 cheaper than the Orange and I would rather have the Marzocchi 350 than a Revelation. The new Marzocchis are so well damped and they aren't as flexy as a Revelation.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
Thanks, ill keep you posted.. I think the commencal is in the lead but i have just looked at the nukeproof scout as well... Decisions decisions...

It also has a dropper, which the more expensive ones lack...Cube Analog 2012 with various upgrades.0
-
There is no low speed compression damping in the R though. I'd take a look at this too:

Thanks, really thought about getting on-one but not sure, also 650b is the wheel size i would like, what do people think of the 45650b? Cant find any reviews on them!

The carbon frame is only three pounds though! Well just over. the steel ones are two pounds on that at least.0

Hello, what decided you? and what was your experience? I'm in a similar situation, but I think only acquire the commencal frame and assemble for parts, or buy all because I think the Fork Marzocchi 350 R it's very good. Or not???
I do not understand why this model (Marzocchi 350 R) is for sale with 160mm travel and with commençal is 150mm .. ??? greeting0 -
A frame is designed for a particular travel, more is not always better, that's why!
Much better frames available for less than the Commi....Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -

Because maybe that's the length that works best with this frame. I have a Marzocchi 350cr which I have dropped to 140mm which is spot on for my frame.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
