I trust people more on here what I read on the internet...

I'll simply ask, medium cage rear mech for 2x10?

Posts

  • Capacity of the mech. Front big minus small minus big rear minus small will tell you

    If I understand if correctly, then 35. 26/38 = 12 11/34 = 23

CRC says 35t capacity for GS, which is medium I think? SGS is long?

Yes and yes......Strictly in Shimano speak GS is long and SGS is extra long, but in plain English its medium and long!

    Cool, cheers.
I guess just putting short, medium and long on the mech is too difficult.

Yup.......The trouble was that historically they had short and long, so as not to cause confusion they added extra long rather than make the old long into the new medium - I'm not sure it worked (not causing confusion!).
