Winter Tyres for 29" Anthem X

Hi all,

First post but been lurking for some time.

Im off to the Lakes soon (Grizedale) and need some Winter rubber for my Anthem X 29"...I've been recommended MAXXIS Advantage 2.25 but can only find them in 26".

Any recommendations out there.

i have the same predicament. Looking at getting Bontrager XR4 on the front and XR3 on the rear, but there is a multitude of options to look at. Always had Nobby Nics on my old 26er and served me well enough

Only been riding around 9 months but I have been using Conti Trail Kings ( Protection/Black Chilli ) and they have been really good, loads of grip and feel.

I'm riding around Grizedale and Coniston area this week. From what I have seen you won't be needing winter tyres, it's all rocky.
