  • Been fishing all weekend, no bikes whatsoever but lots of red wine.

Feeling very tired today and could fall asleep if I had the chance so will robably turn in early tonight with a book. Rock & roll!

Saturday had a mixed bag of skimmers and carp, sunday had well over 100lbs with the biggest Mirror carp being about ten pounds

Impressive haul. I know you we're fishing for sport but I tried carp recently at it was good eating, as long as you don't mind a few bones.

  • Carp we're originally introduced to the uk as food by some monks but I don't think it appeals to diners nowadays.

I've probably eaten it abroad unknowingly in a mixed fish platter as Europeans eat anything that swims.

    Afternoon all,
Feeling more than a little weary this morning, managed to catch a cold which is irritating. Can't be arsed with work today. I just had some cake so all is not lost.

Lovely ride in the sun today. Had my first ever windscreen wash today. I would like to think that the kind motorist was concerned for my welfare and was trying to cool me down but i do wish that he had been using orange flavoured de icer rather than his preferred de icer flavoured de icer. Most kind...
