Been on the hunt for a new machine and narrowed it down to two with my budget, either a Planet X rt58 alloy with shimano tiagra or a felt f75 with 105 on- anyone with either bike care to share their opinion. Only budgeting £650 for the bike so both in my price range.
Thanks

Have been reading that Felt frames had some problems with cracking and what about bb30-is it that bad?

If you type in '[insert large volume bike manufacturer here] cracked frame' into Google, you can find loads of examples.

    I'd get the Felt.

Reckon I'll go with the felt just for the better groupset(have rode a felt) but most importantly do I get the black or the blue????
O.k, now having raised another £100 taking my budget to £700, the Planet X with SRAM rival 22 comes into play. So rival or 105?

Where have you seen a Felt F75 for £650?
I was looking at the Z75 which is pretty similar spec

    How about here http://www.merlincycles.com/felt-f75-road-bike-2014-boxed-72748.html for £599.00, it's 10 speed 105 so 5700.

Went for the Felt in the end, will I regret bb30?.. Bike arrives tomorrow, can't wait.

Planet X with Rival - if there are any left in stock. Great groupset & deal.

Felt arrived this morning, only needed some minor adjustments to the gears and I will eventually cut the steerer down a touch and change the rubino slick tyres
. Only thing missing is a spacer or 2 to fit the front brake-it sits too close to the forks-so close the brakes don't open fully so just got to source a couple from the lbs or halfords later. First ride on it planned tomorrow.
