Hi All

Been to Coed Y Brenin a few times with my son riding the red routes and were thinking of going to Llandegla how do they compare ?

Comments

  • They don't really compare. Totally different riding.
To oversimplify it CYB is techy, 'degla is a BMX track

  • Llandegla is not at all technical. I would even take a beginner around the black trail without worrying about it. The biggest drop I saw there was actually on the red trail and that was only about 18 inches.
  • Thank you for the replies, talking to a couple of people that's what I've been told, but when I'm taking my 9 year old like to make sure :)

    Llandegla is incredibly dangerous.

When I rode there, a small rock managed to jump through my rear disc and did it at such an angle that it wedged against the caliper and tore the whole disc apart. Completely mangled it, and locked the rear wheel, so I instantly started to skid, as the rear wheel tore itself out of it's quick release.

Obviously, this was deliberate, and Wales is trying to kill me. I've been told it was a complete fluke, and one in a million occurance, but I know the truth.

    I KNOW THE TRUTH, WALES
