Scott is "new" 18sp Sora, Felt is 20sp Tiagra. What would you go for?

    Kit and name then the Felt.

    Colour then the Scott.

    Ultimately the one with the most appropriate frame geometry.

    Whichever one he likes the look of, its his bike and he should pick it/like it.

    I kind of prefer new Sora over the older Tiagra but assuming you have a 10 speed it may be better to both have 10 speed in case you want to donate/swap/share bits between your bikes.

    Would easily be the Felt for me out of those two.
    You can use Quidco at wiggle too.

    I had seen that Merlin deal on the Felt f85 but he needs the 54cm and that's sold out unfortunately. As Carbonator suggested, all my road bikes are 10 speed so swapping bits between may be simpler if we go for the Felt with Tiagra 10 speed (although that may just come down to wheels as my gruppos are all SRAM). I've also heard a few people saying "new" Sora is much better than the groupset of old though and the Scott does look peachy :?

    Seller is asking £400 but you could negotiate down from there possibly, leaving some change for wheel upgrade or other components

    I got my first road bike when i was 13, ended up getting a giant from eBay and it meant that i got much better value for money than if i bought new, ultegra vs 2300!

    I know eBay isn't everyones cup of tea, but id say its worth a quick look before any final decisions
