Reverb stealth or standard?

My Nukeproof Mega has the cable routing for a Reverb stealth but was wondering if it's really worth the extra money over the standard Reverb? I'm not that bothered about the cable run on the standard one and could put the money I save towards other "needed" bike bits. Is the any other advantages to the stealth apart from being tidier?

Also is there anywhere cheaper to buy one than bike-discount at the moment?

Cheers.

  • i was in the same position.

I bought a Normal version in the end.

the main reason for this being, that to put the bike in a bike stand, the Mega lacks a suitable area for the clamp unlike most bikes.

to get around this, i compress the reverb, then raise the whole seatpost out of the frame, and clamp on the seatpost tube.

i would say the clamps and routing for a stealth reverb are better, and if i did it again, i would certainly consider a stealth this time.
  • Thanks mate, went for the stealth version in the end as it was only £212 from bikr-discount.
