Looks to be yet another rebranded version of the Brand X, Revolution etc. They're fine for occasional use but don't stand up to constant use over several years, it's just too fragile, flexible and unstable.
Of course better stands usually cost more so they're great for the average home mechanic. Just make sure you're not too rough with the handle, it cracks quite easily IME. Also keep an eye out for bolts coming loose. Mine is missing a few somehow and that really doesn't help with the stability of the clamp.0 -
Just watch out for the locking system for the rotating head it is crap and fails very easily."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I just bought one of THESE
Overall impressions are that its not that great. On reflection, doesnt fold up to put away so has to be dismantled, clamp is difficult to operate one handed (especially as I only have 1.5 hands currently), clamp doesn't grip bike well so moves around, whole thing sags under weight of bike, handlebar stabilising arm doesnt fold out of way.
Overall its cheap which I guess means I shouldnt expect Park Tools refinement but compared to the Lidl one I bought a friend for their birthday it is pretty poor.Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0 -

Short of a Park shop stand or one of the other super high end ones, the best workstands for home use bar none are made by feedback sports. I had a cheap one previously and it just didnt stand up to the abuse.
I have this one.

Those Feedback ones are pretty close in price to Park Tools arent they?
In fact a quick look on ebay suggests they are more than Park.Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0 -
