Hey peeps !!
I am a typical student wanting to take my bike to uni for convenience reasons, so im planning on bring my old teenage time bike with me since i dont wonna get a brand new one to use for 1 year.
Therefore, I want to at least change the tyres of the bike at least so its easier on the road, since i've had it since I bought the bike 3000years ago (cant remember when I bought it :S). Can somebody advice me what kinda tyres I should be purchasing for the bike's frame? (Technical details are welcomed since I will just copy and paste it into Google and order tyres with compatible specs online). I also know that this might be a proper dumb question to be asking, but I can't possible get bigger tyres than the original one right due to the compatibility of the frame ?
This is my bike - Bikes 2U Direct -- Mountain bikes : Full suspension -- Raleigh Vulture bike -- technical specifications
Thanks so much !!

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Schwalbe-Cruise ... bike+tyres ,is this compatible with my bike ? I also plan on changing the tubes whilst the tires are off, would this be good enough ? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Coyote-2-125..._bxgy_sg_img_y0

If it was me and your just using the bike on roads I would go for the city jets, had mine on since july last year over 2000 miles no punctures and still going worth every penny. As for tubes ho with the cheapest you can find as long as their 26 inc and the correct valve type.0

Those land Cruisers are very heavy.
The other link is broken.
As the white one has said, the city jets are an excellent budget choice, fairly fast rolling and reasonable puncture resistant, you have to jump up to circa £25 a tyre to better them.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
