Does anyone use these guys for club clothing and care to comment on the quality? Hoping to change our current supplier and the prices these guys are quoting looks very appealing. I'd appreciate any photos of your own kit to see the quality - can be hard to tell from their marketing snaps.

Cheers

  • I've used them for our work club kits a few times. Good price, decent enough quality. The pad on the bibs is quite thick, not a problem if you don't mind that.

I've had mine for over a year now, tend to wear it on the commute or for MTB races because I have my "best" kit for road racing. It's still in good condition, no stretching, fading, coming apart at the seams etc.

Delivery is usually pretty good too.

Here is a pic from a MTB race the other week.

Does the pad be thick as in comfy, or when you walk does it look like you're wearing a nappy?
  • That's really too much of a personal preference thing for me to answer. I prefer it for the MTB because it offers more padding. I prefer a thinner pad for the road though.

Of the 15 or so people who have the kit, I've heard everything from "comfiest pad I own" through to "won't be wearing it for anything other than short races".

Just have a word with Velotec, they'll send you some sample kit.

Oh, and imo the jerseys come up REALLY small, but the bibs are about right.
  • My club kit is from Velotec and I like it. The jersey has a great tight, technical fit and the bib short pad is excellent. I like the pad more than the one in my Pearl Izumi Elite In-R-Cool bib shorts.
