Great places to ride. Join Kingley Vale Mountain Bikers (my sig) as there's more to QE than the official trails, and check out Stoughton DH on Facebook.

I went to a race at QECP last year (Gravity Project I think). I wouldn't bother on a DH bike again but I guess it could be ok on a trail bike.
Very short trails, under a minute.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
The GP race was in the 'events area' in Head Down - and yes it's not long..... better for Enduro races. You don't need a DH bike for anything in QECP. The QECP Day & Night Enduro trails were much longer lines in the main park - though only stage 4 and a bit of stage 3 were on parts of the Red Trail.Vitus Sentier VR+ (2018) GT Grade AL 105 (2016)
