Hi, I posses incomplete rear derailleur Shimano Deore LX RD-M581. It has exterior short cage, but interior cage is missing. What cages are compatible with this derailleur? I don't know whether I should throw it to rubbish bin or attempt to fix it. Gallery of 6 photos (sorry about the quality):

Basically, I need replacement for element 12 from this pdf:

Replacements are available, you can even get carbon fibre ones!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

If you really look you might find a replacement part, who knows if the cage sizes are the same on the newer models without measurements....
Ive upgraded from an old 2004 xtr derailleur to the rd-m591 and found that the only difference was the springs work better as theyre newer, I did however find the was a big difference in the latest deore shifters in that they change easier.
my current derailleur
