Hi just got a new Felt F95 for a winter bike. Great bike but could do with the position slightly more upright. I know i can turn the stem round to my it higher etc. Will a 90mm stem instead of the 100mm that is on there make a difference?
Will it bring my shoulders up slightly and make it more comfortable?
Cheers

Sometimes 10mm is all it takes to make a position comfortable so the answer is... maybe. Is the stem the same rise angle?BASI Nordic Ski Instructor

Here you go, best link for checking things like this:

You can punch your steerer angle in (most will be roundabout 73deg) and then use blue for current setup and red for alternative to see what changing the stack (spacers), flipping and length changes does to the contact point for the bars...0 -

No, a 10 mm shorter stem will not bring your shoulders up.0 -

It will, basic laws of geometry. think of a triangle of torso, arms and a base from bottom of troso to your hands. if you shrink that base slightly then the point (being the shoulders) has to go up a little.
It will also reduce the reach by 10mm which might improve comfortBianchi Infinito CV

i agree with you,Wherever that difference is a good one, is purely down to your personal fit issues.0
