Is anyone else having trouble saving files from their Bryton to a Mac?

The Mac produced an error message about the USB extension, the timing of which seemed more than coincidental following an iTunes update, but after about an hour searching various Mac forums the suggested fix (related to iTunes/iPhone connectivity) hasn't solved the Bryton problem. So I'm a bit stuck.

I should add that I can download the files from the Bryton sport website after they have been uploaded there using the Bryton Bridge software, so all is not lost. But it's a bit annoying none the less.

Maybe I should just buy a Garmin...

Yes mine was the same, after 2yrs of issues ranging from unable to upload, device getting water logged etc etc i deceided to get rid and get Garmin 500.

should have done it a lot sooner.

Hehe! I had continual problems with a Bryton 20 and after a year of getting ad hoc resets and damp units (that could only be prevented by wrapping in plastic), temperamental uploading and problematic HRM readings I got fed up and got a warranty replacement...it was then about 2 months before I gave up with the replacement and got a Garmin 500. Best thing I did, works perfectly in all weathers and has not failed me yet in any feature or function. Not sure that helps :)

Thanks for the feedback. I've had the Bryton for a year and a half and this is the first time I've had a problem with it (barring the occasional GPS meltdown). I've emailed their technical support desk, so I'll wait and see what they suggest...

You might need to be patient. I found their support to be quite responsive and helpful but they then gave up on ideas and asked me to return the unit for a check...albeit the return had to be via the retailer. After about 3 weeks of waiting for feedback I got a bit fed up at which point they advised me that the unit had probably been lost between Wiggle and Bryton (Wiggle had sent a delivery receipt) so Bryton authorised a warranty replacement from Wiggle which took about another week. I wish I had insisted on a refund instead and used that to offset the Gamin purchase which became almost inevitable when the replacement Bryton unit displayed all the same features as the old one.

I hope you have better luck though :)

So I got a reply from Bryton service earlier, an impressive response time, although their suggestion of changing my internet browser didn't actually address the problem... but then I went for a ride this afternoon and the upload has started working again, hooray. Hold that Garmin...

    Thanks again for the advice.
